Transcribes physician orders from records (in the absence of CPOE and EMR clinical documentation system) with notation and signature by nursing staff. Prepares and compiles records on the Behavioral Health Unit. Orders supplies for the unit, prepares and completes each patient's chart for necessary forms needed on a daily basis. SOCIAL SERVICES II: To provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling for Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Older Adults and their significant others to cope with a multiplicity of social and emotional problems; information and referral; referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems that are related to hospitalization, illness, disability or trauma. To provide case management & milieu management, complete psychosocial assessments, assist in the development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans and work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and to coordinate discharge planning. The Radiology Transporter transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.  Other duties include but are not limited to; Darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties.  This performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients.  Other duties include, but are not limited to, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records.  The Radiology Transport/Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.  Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.

The Environmental Service Technician is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling from one facility to another without assistance. Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers etc.

We are seeking an CT Technologist, internally referred to as our CT Technologist-Radiology at St John Hospital a member of Prime Healthcare. As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist you will specialize and be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patient’s internal organs and tissues. You will assist in diagnosing medical conditions and the treatment plan process, by producing high-quality images that help healthcare providers make informed decisions about our patient care.   Shift’s Available:  Nights Employment Type: Full Time Shift Hours: 12hr Shifts   Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): - prepare patients and ensure patients are properly positioned on the CT table and explain the procedure to them with empathy, address any concerns or questions they may have - operate CT scanners to obtain images of the targeted body parts, which may involve adjusting the CT scanner settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure, radiation safety at all times - monitor our patients, as a CT Technologist ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure - assist other radiologists, as you will work closely with them, who interpret the images you produced by the CT exam you may also assist in administering contrast agents or perform certain procedures - preserve all equipment assigned to the radiology department, CT Technologist are responsible for the quality assurance of CT scanners to ensure they function properly and produce accurate images - keep accurate records of each patient’s procedure, including images and relevant medical history, documentation and record-keeping is a must - follow strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, yourself, and other healthcare personnel - maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license - other duties and responsibilities maybe assigned depending on department need and growth

Assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit, directing, supervising and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment and staff. Ensure the efficient functioning of the department. May performs direct patient care, as needed, within the scope of practice. Continually assess care and directs staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.

Their duties include meeting with patients about past medical history and logging vital signs to create a record that will inform and guide the patient’s care plan. A Licensed Practical Nurse works directly with patients to record their previous medical history and vital signs. They are directly supervised by a Registered Nurse, who collaborates with the Physician to develop a customized care plan for each patient.
