Supervisor performs day to day operations under the direction of the department operations director and the medical director of the Radiation Therapy. Daily operations include, scheduling radiation therapists to appropriately levels to safely operate/perform CT planning and radiation treatment of the day’s workload, report issues that can affect operations and patientcare and safety, as well as any concerns and issue brought my patient, staff or physicians. This position also functions as a Radiation Therapist, administering therapeutic radiation, as ordered to facilitate accurate treatment delivery and in accordance with state and federal regulations.  The Radiation Therapy Supervisor works closely with the Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicist and Dosimetrist in planning courses of radiation therapy by performing radiation dose distribution, position and dosage calculations and constructing treatment devices.  This individual provides clear communication within the department and assists in the maintenance of radiation and repairs of equipment. Provide radiation therapy treatments and function as an essential member of the radiation oncology treatment team in order to provide quality care to our patients. Demonstrate competency to deliver a planned course of radiation therapy accurately and safely. Use appropriate machine settings to deliver treatment while visually monitoring the patient and treatment console during treatment. Takes appropriate verification images. Check treatment plans and parameters prior to initial treatment. Reports any deviations in treatment plan to appropriate channels. Performs and maintains Quality Assurance activities.

CRNA will provide counseling and education to the patient about the procedure and options. Perform a thorough and comprehensive physical examination and history. Assess and evaluate patient to determine best course of action. Develop a patient-centered plan for analgesia, anesthesia, multi modal pain management, and recovery. Ensure patient understanding and obtain anesthetic-specific informed consent. Select, prescribe, order, and administer pre-anesthetic medications, including various necessary controlled substances. The use of anesthesia and sedation to achieve the reversible loss of consciousness, amnesia, analgesia and/or muscle relaxation for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with sufficient depth and duration as needed. Implement a patient-specific plan of care, which may involve anesthetic techniques, such as general, regional and local anesthesia, sedation, and multi modal pain management. Select, order, prescribe and administer anesthetic medications, including controlled substances, adjutant drugs, accessory drugs, fluids, and blood products. Assessing airway, vital signs (pulse, blood pressure) with appropriate equipment. Interpretation and management of abnormal diagnostic data. Engage in safe perioperative patient care practices which includes but is not limited to safe use of anesthesia equipment for administration; oxygen therapy; central venous access devices including ultrasound guidance if performed within an approved education program. Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia. Select, order, prescribe and administer post anesthetic medications, including controlled substances. Conduct post anesthesia evaluation. Educate the patient related to recovery, regional analgesia and continued multi modal pain management. Discharge from the postanesthesia care area or facility. Provide comprehensive patient centered pain management to optimize recovery. Provide acute pain services, including multi modal pain management and opioid-sparing techniques. Provide anesthesia and analgesia using regional techniques for obstetric and other acute pain management. Provide advanced pain management, including acute, chronic, and interventional pain management. Order or prescribe medications for pain management or medication assisted treatment, including controlled substances. Provide critical care, emergency, and resuscitation/airway management services. Perform testing for point of care. Order, evaluate, and diagnose based on radiological and laboratory studies. Use and supervise technologies for both diagnostic and care delivery. Provide ongoing pain management and sedation for palliative care. Order treatments, services, and consults related to a patient’s care.

The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for decontamination, preparation, sterilization of Central Sterile trays, instruments, equipment, inventory and restocking of supplies, computer data entry and patient charge card batching. Demonstrates knowledge of all department locations within facility and ability to access all departments. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates detailed awareness and knowledge of patient supplies and equipment.

The Senior Managed Care Biller/Collector is responsible for both billing and collections, gathering and securing all information needed for billing, follow up, and payment of accounts in accordance with the specific payer guidelines, policies, procedures, and compliance regulations for managed care. This includes maintaining the deficiency lists used to obtain missing documents from internal or external entities, resolving claim rejections, packaging claims, including global billing with attachments of professional fee claims, performing proactive follow up with payers and other entities and securing payment of accounts.
