Financial Counselor determines patient liability based on benefits and advises patient of their liability prior to scheduled elective procedures notifies patient of financial responsibility; collection arrangements are made prior to services rendered. Verifies insurance eligibility, and benefits for procedures or other services ensuring communication of patient responsibility to the patient or responsible party. Verifies and secures accurate patient demographic and insurance information, updating patient account information as needed. Assists patients in making arrangements as needed for the patient responsibility. The Financial Counselor is also a back up to the surgery scheduler, posts patient and insurance payments to the patient account. Maintains effective communication skills, including verbal, written and telephone. Proficient in mathematical skills.

The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
