The Unit Secretary is an unlicensed person who performs indirect care and assists with departmental organizational activities with the leaders of the Physical Therapy Director, House Supervisor or Charge RN. Assists in the coordination of Physical Therapy activities occurring on patient care unit(s) by effectively performing clerical, receptionist and communication duties. Assists in maintaining a safe and organized environment of the patient care unit(s).
The Environmental Service Technician is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings, which may require traveling from one facility to another without assistance. Respond to and initiate communication by phone, handheld radios, pagers etc.

Activities include but are not limited to chart reviews, data abstraction for CMS, NHSN, and other outcomes studies, and staff education. Develop, and adapt as necessary, information systems to report on key performance indicators to ensure that Supervisor/ Managers/Director can measure and monitor and continuously improve performance. The Infection Control Preventionist Trainee is responsible for surveillance, prevention, and control of infection. Assists with policy and procedure development and implementation while maintaining CDC, OSHA, AOA HFAP/TJC/CMS/local regulatory and other regulatory agency standards, or directives. Acts as a primary education consultant to hospital employees, physicians, patients, volunteers, and visitors in safe Infection Control/Prevention practices. Coordinates all hospital infection control activities with the Infection Control Committee, Medical Staff, and hospital employees. Responds to potential exposures by communicating with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and regulatory agencies. ICPT will conduct internal audits, reviewing supporting documentation, and appraise preparedness of the auditors. Required to work closely with colleagues in producing information analysis and data abstractors for retro, concurrent, and real time monitoring.

In collaboration with the manager/director of Performance Improvement is responsible for assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of the organization wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards. Activities include but are not limited to chart reviews, data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies, and staff education regarding core measures, other non-core abstractions, Quality measures and updates regarding new and enhance indicators. Under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, the RCP II is responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Emphasis will be toward the assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care, with consideration of age and population specific needs and requirements of the patient. In the absence of a supervisor, may be assigned/identified as Lead RCP, having responsibility for the section or department during their shift.
Mental Health Worker Inpatient: Under the direction and supervision of the RN, LVN or Charge RN assist the licensed nursing staff in providing and documenting patient care including assistance with activities of daily living. Supports the unit functions and maintains a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors and co-workers; functions as an integral part of the interdisciplinary care team and communicates pertinent patient information to the supervising RN. Performs some clerical duties as assigned and provides basic nursing care for the adult and geriatric patients. Performs responsibilities within the guidelines of the Nursing Structure Standards, Hospital/Nursing Policy and state regulatory and accrediting requirements.Mental Health Worker Outpatient: Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, RN and the Program Director carries out activities of daily living program and individual treatment plans for the psychiatric patients.
