The ICM is responsible for ensuring appropriate for admission and/or disposition of any patient presenting with a potential psychiatric illness. The ICM ensures the comprehensive admission and concurrent review of the medical record for the medical necessity, intensity of services and severity of illness. The ICM provides oversight throughout the patient admission, across the continuum and supports other interdisciplinary team members and the discharge planning process.

The Charge Nurse may perform direct patient care within scope of practice and clinical competency to ensure patient safety and patient/nurse ratios; they shall be temporarily relieved of Charge Nurse duties during such times by Director/designee and shall document details of same on patient care assignment record.

�� Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow.� Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.� Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.

The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care and improve the overall patient experience in the medical surgical setting.

Call responsibility is rotated approximately every 2-3 days within the team on service; therefore, the number of calls assigned varies based on shifts scheduled.  This position can be a day shift or overnight shift depending on applicant’s skill set and preferences.  Experienced Case Management group dedicated to facilitating discharges with placement.  Knowledgeable and seasoned clinical staff and great support from administration. Outpatient � Under the supervision of the pharmacist in charge of the outpatient pharmacy, coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital or the outpatient pharmacy, while ensuring patient safety. The scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. They communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

- Produces quality mammography images for interpretation. - Assumes responsibility for patient safety by utilizing proper exposure and protective measures. - Educates and explains procedures to patients. - Adheres to infection control standards specific to patient care. - Demonstrates awareness of Radiation Safety Procedures for self and others. - Follows department protocols in the production of screening and diagnostic mammograms. - Follows regulatory guidelines and performs QA/QC as mandated by ACR/ MQSA. - Knowledge in how to perform Breast Wire localizations, Stereo Breast biopsies and bone density.

Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/QC activities. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director/manager, the RCP I is responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Emphasis will be toward the assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care, with consideration of age and population specific needs and requirements of the patient. In the absence of a supervisor, may be assigned/identified as Lead RCP, having responsibility for the section or department during their shift.
