Interventional Cardiologist
Redding, California

Shasta Regional Medical Center, a 226-bed acute care facility and member of the Prime Healthcare system, is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to establish and lead a solo practice within our hospital-owned multi-specialty medical group. This is an exciting opportunity to build a high-demand service line in a supportive environment with robust hospital resources.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Provide general cardiology and interventional cardiology care.
  • Build and grow a solo practice with opportunity to expand patient volume and service line.
  • Perform advanced cardiac procedures, including WATCHMAN for atrial fibrillation and Cardio-MEMS for heart failure monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery Program, which includes CABG, valve repair/replacement, aorta repair, thoracic/vascular procedures, and off-pump (OPCAB) bypass surgery.
  • Work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, with 1 in 3 calls.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • MD/DO, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Cardiology with interventional training.
  • Interest in building and leading a high-demand solo practice.

Shasta Regional Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status, i.e. full-time or part-time. The current compensation range for this role is $600,000-630,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
