Responsibilities

Central Maine Healthcare is seeking an experience bedside Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Team at Central Maine Medical Center! 

 

The NICU RN is responsible for managing individualized direct patient care to premature, sick or high-risk newborns through the nursing process, in addition to collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.  This role provides an exceptional patient experience by supporting and educating the family throughout the patient's hospitalization; functioning as the patient advocate while actively following a plan of care responding to changes in condition and/or response to treatments.

Education and Experience

 

In additon to a minimum of two years bedside RN experience, we are looking for:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse License, in the state of Maine, BSN preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS (PALS desired)
• TNCC desired
 

Preferred:
• One year of nursing experience
• Bilingual
