Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. The Personal Support Specialist assists residents with activities of daily living. The PSS is responsible for working with team members to ensure residents’ needs are met and to assist in providing a safe homelike environment for residents.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Residential Care Specialist 1 (RCS -I) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certification required within 120 calendar days.
2. Placed on state registry within 120 calendar days.
3. Minimum six months of previous experience in a long term care setting, preferred.
