The CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images. The CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment. Communicates with physician continuously and as needed about patient condition. Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory. Assesses procedure room or equipment functioning and readiness. Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiovascular Laboratory team are met. Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Monitors and records patients condition continuously while in the Cardiovascular lab. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.

The CNA in the Telemetry Department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

The Senior Biller/Collector is responsible for both billing and collections, gathering and securing all information needed for billing, follow up, and payment of accounts in accordance with the specific payer guidelines, policies, procedures, and compliance regulations for Government payers. This includes maintaining the deficiency lists used to obtain missing documents from internal or external entities, resolving claim rejections, packaging claims, including global billing with attachments of professional fee claims, performing proactive follow up with payers and other entities and securing payment of accounts. With oversight and direction from the Program Director/Designee, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the operational and financial management of the residency training program.   The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. The Program Coordinator will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external program relations.

Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

The CNA in the Float Pool is an unlicensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. The CNAs in the Float Pool will be assigned as needed to the following departments, MedSurg, Geropsych, Telemetry, DOU, ICU/CCU, Subacute and Emergency Department.
