The Clinic Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing and influencing the Urgent Care Staff activities and the delivery of Business Services while maintaining continuous quality improvement. The Clinic Supervisor maintains operations within budgetary parameters. Effectively interacts with patient, physicians, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional business conduct and service. The Clinic Supervisor is accountable to the Director and Executive Director for the day-today management of personnel, including staffing, credential monitoring, time-keeping, employee evaluation, counseling, interview and selection of staff within established SMMG and regulatory guidelines. The Clinic Supervisor spends 80% + of his/her time is spent on the aforementioned management activities.

The Employee Engagement Liaison is responsible for the implementation and oversight of all employee engagement activities to include but not limited to, New Hire Orientation, Service Awards, Hospital Week Employee of the Year/Month, and all other programs designed to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover. The Employee Engagement Liaison serves as the point of contact for HR related retention/experience inquires, developing employee satisfaction and turnover metrics, surveys, suggestions, dashboards, etc. This position requires independent thinking and ability to make good judgement decisions while also, working in collaboration with Administration and Leaders to continuously evaluate and improve Employee Satisfaction programs.   Additional Responsibilities include: - Heavy engagement with employees through rounding and events. - Public speaking through special events, such as employee town hall meetings and other engagements. - Lead committees and other collaborative work groups. - Organize, plan and lead large events. - Lead employee engagement surveys, stay surveys and exit surveys, creating follow up action plans. - Point of contact for all new hires and performs new hire orientation. - Other HR duties as needed. - Flexible schedule for early morning and late evening events when necessary. 

Responsible for the quality and resource management of all patients that are admitted to the facility from the point of their admission and across the continuum of the health care management.  Works on behalf of the advocate, promoting cost containment and demonstrates leadership to integrate the health care providers to achieve a perceived seamless delivery of care.  The methodology is designed to facilitate and ensure the achievement of quality, clinical and cost-effective outcomes and to perform a holistic and comprehensive admission and concurrent review of the medical record for the medical necessity, intensity of service and severity of illness.

The Biller / Collector is responsible for the follow-up performed on accounts to ensure payment with delay is received from insurance, patients or other payer. Communicates clearly and efficiently by phone and in person with the patient, insurance and staff members. Maintains productivity standards and reports billing issues appropriately. Obtains updated demographic information and all necessary information needed to comply with insurance billing requirements. Forwards updated information to responsible staff members for computer changes. Operates computer to input follow up notes and retrieve collection and patient information.

The Interventional Endoscopy Technician is directly responsible to the GI physician, Endoscopy RN, Surgeon, or the RN/Supervisor of the area that the Endoscopy is being performed (ie, ER, ICU/CCU, OR). The Interventional Endoscopy Technician works as a scrub assistant to the physician during all invasive endoscopy procedures. They perform all GI procedures including, but not limited to Biopsy, Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC), Barrx, Dilation, Specimen acquisition, Labeling and handling, and Peg Tube placement. All at the direction of the GI Physician, Surgeon, or RN. The Interventional Endoscopy Technician is also responsible for insuring safe transportation, handling, disinfection, sterilization and maintenance of the Flexible Endoscopes, and the Automated Reprocessing devices. This is an ongoing process of education and updating current practices following the manufacturer’s suggested guidelines, and recommendations of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA), JCAHO, and the Centers of Disease Control (CDC). The Interventional Endoscopy Technician confirms GI suite procedure is as scheduled, availability, readiness and completeness of needed supplies instruments and equipment before patient enters GI Suite. They confirm integrity and appropriate preparation of all sterile items before opening and again while preparing aseptic/ sterile field.

The Human Resources Supervisor administers and coordinates human resources programs such as compensation and benefits, with a primary emphasis on employment and employee relations matters involving employees up through the middle management level; communications and interprets company human resources policies and procedures for managers and employees.

The Monitor Tech is an unlicensed person who performs indirect care in the department setting. Monitors cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors. Meets the communication needs of the department. Transcribes physician orders in the absence of CPOE and EMR clinical documentation system. Verifies that lab tests and radiology tests have been ordered and done. Prepares and complies records in the ER. Orders supplies for the unit and prepares and completes each patient's chart for necessary forms needed daily. Able to assist nursing staff with indirect patient care duties as long as the activity does not distract from primary responsibility for dysrhythmia monitoring. *Note: May provide direct patient care under the direct supervision of the RN within scope of Certified Nursing Assistant if 1) possesses active CNA certification; 2) demonstrates annual competency in CNA duties and skills and 3) is relieved of Monitor Technician duties during the time of assisting the RN.

Ability to function in a demanding environment by navigating multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively supporting a busy Medical Group. This position is responsible for assigned Medical Staff as assigned by Credentialing Supervisor. Facilitates all aspects of credentialing including applications, reappointments, proctoring and competencies. Interfaces with physicians, management and co-workers in a positive and professional manner.

Under the direction and supervision of the RN, LVN or Charge RN assist the licensed nursing staff in providing and documenting patient care including assistance with activities of daily living. Supports the unit functions and maintains a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors and co-workers; functions as an integral part of the interdisciplinary care team and communicates pertinent patient information to the supervising RN. Performs some clerical duties as assigned and provides basic nursing care for the adult and geriatric patients. Performs responsibilities within the guidelines of the Nursing Structure Standards, Hospital/Nursing Policy and state regulatory and accrediting requirements.

The Infection Control Preventionist is responsible for surveillance, prevention and control of infection. Assists with policy and procedure development and implementation while maintaining CDC, OSHA, AOA HFAP/TJC/CMS/local regulatory and other regulatory agency standards or directives. Acts as a primary education consultant to hospital employees, physicians, patients, volunteers and visitors in safe Infection Control/Prevention practices. Coordinates all hospital infection control activities with the Infection Control Committee, Medical Staff and hospital employees. Responds to potential exposures by communicating with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and regulatory agencies.

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Responsible for the coordination of the various activities of the Case Management Department under the direction of the assigned Case Manager/Social Worker assist with development and implementations of discharge plans. Assists with case management referrals and authorizations. Maintains and coordinates Medicaid state submission forms for presentation to on-site reviewer and files them accordingly or as per facility’s procedure. Assists with Discharge Planning as assigned by interviewing patients/families and gathering data to develop a safe patient-focused Discharge Plan.

The Specialist, Cash Applications is the lead responsible for posting all incoming payments to correct patient accounts on a daily basis. Inputs and retrieves data from computer systems. Reconciles accounts daily. Applies payments to patient accounts accurately and efficiently. Ability to communicate with school age, adolescent, young adult, middle adult to older adults. Please note any duties or projects assigned will need to be completed.

Supervisor performs day to day operations under the direction of the department operations director and the medical director of the Radiation Therapy. Daily operations include, scheduling radiation therapists to appropriately levels to safely operate/perform CT planning and radiation treatment of the day’s workload, report issues that can affect operations and patientcare and safety, as well as any concerns and issue brought my patient, staff or physicians. This position also functions as a Radiation Therapist, administering therapeutic radiation, as ordered to facilitate accurate treatment delivery and in accordance with state and federal regulations.  The Radiation Therapy Supervisor works closely with the Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicist and Dosimetrist in planning courses of radiation therapy by performing radiation dose distribution, position and dosage calculations and constructing treatment devices.  This individual provides clear communication within the department and assists in the maintenance of radiation and repairs of equipment. This position performs training, education, payroll, corrective actions, works to ensure all therapy equipment service issues are addressed timely, communicates effectively with Dosimetrist, Therapists, Nursing, Physicist and Physician. This position communicates directly with the Operations director and assists in maintaining departmental accreditations at all levels.    

Under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, the RCP II is responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Emphasis will be toward the assessment, planning, implementation and documentation of care, with consideration of age and population specific needs and requirements of the patient. In the absence of a supervisor, may be assigned/identified as Lead RCP, having responsibility for the section or department during their shift.

Responsible for adherence to regulations, standards and hospital or unit policies and procedures. Responsible for participation in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings and in-services. Acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.

Advanced Imaging I use equipment to visualize internal structures, blood flow and obtain measurements. American College of Radiology (ACR) and Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) are the 2 guiding bodies used in Imaging. In the Radiology settings, ACR is followed. In the Cardio-vascular Ultrasound setting, IAC is followed. Cardio-Vascular Sonographer practice following Protocols and Techniques as per scribed by the Cardio-Vascular Medical Director. Advanced Imaging I, practice following the protocols and techniques as per scribed by Imaging Medical Director. All Advanced Imaging I, will practice their skills within the scope of their credentials and with a valid written physician’s order always.  Skill evaluations will be done by the area supervisor or preceptor assigned.  Advanced Imaging I will perform, under the supervision of a physician and complete exams per protocol using diagnostic criteria; completes required information on PACS. Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Imaging Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department including document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion. The Behavioral Health Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable to the Department Director for the quality of nursing staff and the delivery of patient care during his/her shift and assists the Director in the daily operation of the respective unit(s)/department. The Purchasing Coordinator (PC) provides a variety of support functions within the Materials Management/Supply Chain departments. Assist the requisitioners and other hospital staff in the procurement of goods and services for internal and external customers.
