SOCIAL SERVICES II: To provide emotional support, crisis intervention and counseling for Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Older Adults and their significant others to cope with a multiplicity of social and emotional problems; information and referral; referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families with problems that are related to hospitalization, illness, disability or trauma. The Denials Management Account Assistant is responsible for performing various administrative and clerical duties to support the Denials Management Department. The DM Account Assistant will receive completed appeals received from DM Analysts and Specialist, prepare appeal packets by printing required medical records and other materials as instructed, mail completed packets to correct addresses. In addition the assistant will complete timely phone and online follow up contact with payers to verify receipt of appeal and noting account with mailing and follow up information in accordance with department protocols.
