The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for the overall daily operations and supervision of the practice. The position requires excellent internal and external business office relations, supervision and leadership. Effectively interacts with patients, doctors and other staff, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism at all times. In addition to overall management duties the Front Office Supervisor will also receive the patient and direct them to the services needed. Making appointments and making preliminary assessment category of payment for patients are essential before provider can see them.
The Biller is responsible for submitting claims to the appropriate intermediaries and to insure that procedures and charges are coded in compliance with all payers including Medi-Cal and/or Medicare regulations. Responsible for obtaining required authorizations necessary for the processing and payment of claims. The Biller is responsible for the follow-up and denial management as necessary for final resolution. Responsible to identify the various types of diagnosis and procedures codes (ICD10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG) as they relate to reimbursement. Communicates clearly and efficiently by phone and in person with clients and staff members. Maintains productivity standards and reports. Obtains updated demographic information and all necessary information needed to comply with the various Government Programs billing requirements. Operates computer to input follow up notes and retrieve collection and patient information. Maintains proficiency in Medical Terminology
Ability to function in a demanding environment by navigating multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively supporting a busy Medical Group. This position is responsible for assigned Medical Staff as assigned by Credentialing Supervisor. Facilitates all aspects of credentialing including applications, reappointments, proctoring and competencies. Interfaces with physicians, management and co-workers in a positive and professional manner.
The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.
