Develop hospital relationships with primary and specialty practice physicians with the goal of increasing referral and redirection opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient services for the hospital. Monitor patient experience and share information with leadership and other departments to identify opportunities to improve, resolve or prevent the recurrence of problems, and increase overall patient satisfaction. Successfully plans and hosts Information Seminars and Support Groups monthly, in support of patient recruitment efforts and program continuing education. Effectively encourages potential patients to complete pre-registration/insurance verification paperwork after Information Seminars/Support Groups, knowledgeably assists with this process, and verifies insurance eligibility. Provides education to patients/families/significant other and staff, incorporating age-specific criteria and assessment of readiness to learn. Supervises staff skills and knowledge verification.
